City of Brighton – Comprehensive Plan
The City of Brighton is in the process of creating Comprehensive Plan. A comprehensive plan is a long-range vision for the future of the community and it serves as a guide for how the city can become the place it strives to be. The plan will provide a framework for decision making and will prioritize and direct development policies in different areas of the community.
Brighton’s Comprehensive Plan consists of four interconnected plans:
- Master Plan
- Parks & Recreation Plan
- Downtown Development Plan
- Complete Streets Plan
Giffels Webster, the city’s planning consultant, is assisting the city in developing a plan that is engaging, understandable, and complete with clear implementation strategies to help the community move forward to achieve its vision and goals.
The public is invited to complete a brief survey about the City of Brighton at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Brightonr. This survey will help plan makers better understand how people live in the city, and identify future needs of the community. The survey will be made available until July 6th, 2017.
